Death of Hugh F. Ward in May 1964
Ward was a partner of Guy Banister, the FBI/CIA handler of Lee Harvey Oswald who ordered Oswald to hand out pro-castro leaflets just three months prior to the JFK assassination. Through the Minuteman and Anti-Communism League of the Caribbean Ward had similar ultraright CIA ties as Banister.
Ward died in a plane crash six months after the assassination, together with DeLesseps Morrison, Sr., the mayor of Louisiana 1946-1961 and ambassador to the Organization of American States 1961-1963. Morrison's son was executive vice president of the elite and CIA-linked Cordell Hull Foundation for International Education, located at the International Trade Mart, a New Orleans-based big business hub for CIA operations against Latin America. This is also where Clay Shaw had his office.
