Major Dutch Media Outlets 75% Owned by Two Belgian Firms Due to State Subsidies, But it doesn't Matter: Same Left-Right Globalist Control
Contents
^^MainU.S. media: globalist control
ISGP analyzed U.S. media outlets in a variety of articles over the decades. Traditionally America's major newspapers and at least the major New York City-headquartered TV news networks not only were part of the Pilgrims Society, but also deeply cooperated with the CIA. Certainly in the modern era pretty much all of America's big media outlets are part of the Council on Foreign Relations, including some "anti-establishment", "new left", "liberal CIA" news outlets. These same media outlets, plus Hollywood movie studies, entertainment media and social media, also annually meet at the Sun Valley, which ISGP also wrote an article about. "Anti-establishment", controlled opposition "liberal CIA" and "conservative CIA" media outlets have their own articles here as well.
In the end the conclusion has always been that the media is fully controlled by the globalist group. With a little bit of overlap, each "political box" of the globalist group tends to have its own set of allied media outlets. The "conservative CIA" ones, as well anything conspiracy (disinformation), have been heavily censored in Google since the late 2010s, but being censored has little to do with being "independent". For example, forever Fox News has been the frontrunner of America's conservative movement, yet its owner, Rubert Murdoch and sons, are major superclass index players who have been involved in globalist think tanks, controlled opposition "libertarian" think tanks as Cato, and even left-wing globalist media as Vice. The idea of this family representing a different establishment than the globalist one is absolutely silly.
In the end, three things can never be properly discussed by any globalist-controlled media:
- Genuine opposition to Third World immigration.
- Genuine conspiracy, such as listed in ISGP's conspiracy oversight.
- Genuine spirituality, including such (very real and verifiable) things as the meridian system.
Dutch media: globalist control
The situation across the Atlantic Ocean, in this case the Netherlands, isn't all that different. Mainstream media articles with regard to genuine Third World immigration concerns, such as sexual harassment at swimming pools, have been banned, certainly after the early 2010s. Any genuine conspiracy discussion is pretty much non-existent, with both the left and right generally only using subjects as "moon landings" and "chemtrails" to debunk all genuine conspiracy. Genuine spirituality discussions also don't exist.
Above the reader can see the top 39 online news outlets of the Netherlands, plus the amount of monthly visitors they get, at least in 2018. The numbers for late 2021 were largely the same though: the "lefty" Nu.nl still was one, NOS state news was a very close second, Het Algemeen Dagblad, which has spread "second shooter" disinformation about the Pim Fortuyn assassination 1, was three; and the "right-wing" (for Dutch standards) Telegraaf was four:
Going back the the 2018 oversight, I added an extra analysis on top of that to show the real owners of these top 39 news outlets. Added to it as well are countless major women's magazines, gossip magazines, car magazines, computer websites, children's magazines, radio networks, and pretty much all major Dutch television channels: the government's NPO channels and the commercial Talpa/SBS and RTL Group networks.
As can be seen, once you start checking ownership of these 60-something top media outlets, they reduce to 7 major holding firms, 3 independent outlets, plus two more "recently-freed" ones. So 60 outlets reduces to 12 after a first line of filtering. Let's look a bit closer at the owners of the "Dutch" media:
- DPG Media: Owns about 42% of the listed outlets. It's a Belgian media conglomerate controlled by the billionaire Van Thillo family. In 1998 Christian van Thillo, still the executive chair of DPG Media as of 2024, was a founding member of Cercle de Lorraine, alongside honorary Bilderberg chairman Etienne Davignon. Maurice Lippens of Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission had joined by 2002 as well, as did other elites. A niece of Christian van Thillo also has joined ties with the Lippens family to a luxury hotel in Knokke. 2
All that is significant, because Davignon and Lippens both were named as child abusers in the Dutroux X-Dossiers of the 1990s. DPG Media-owned Nu.nl criticized Wikileaks for bringing that information out in 2009 3, even though this author had done so in 2007 on a much larger scale. Fascinatingly, on October 29, 2023 this author was contacted by a young Belgian DPG Media journalist - who did not seem to have the best of intentions - inquiring if she could get help in writing a book about elite child prostitution networks in Belgium. - Mediahuis: Owns about 33% of the listed outlets. It's a Belgian media conglomerate controlled by the Leysen family. Andre Leysen (1989-02) and Thomas Leysen (2003-) were members of the European Round Table of Industrialists 4, founded as a Bilderberg offshoot by Etienne Davignon and close David Rockefeller friend Pehr Gyllenhammar. 5 Anno 2024 Thomas Leysen also served as trustee and president of the governing board of Friends of Europe, another Bilderberg offshoot, founded by its long-time trustee president Etienne Davignon, who still occupied that position in 2024. Other Bilderbergers also have been part of the Friends of Europe board. 6
- The state, billionaire John de Mol and German media conglomerate Bertelsmann: Together these control roughly 10 major TV channels, so about 17% of listed media outlets. These basically are all relevant channels. Foreign channels as MTV, Discovery, or Animal Planet all are as globalist as they come as well, and organized in such groups as the Sun Valley Meetings.
The Dutch state, through prime ministers as Dries van Agt, Ruud Lubbers, Wim Kok and Mark Rutte for decades has had deep ties to Bilderberg, Davos and other globalist NGOs. John de Mol has a degree of alt-right ties, but also operated or has tried to operate in partnership with major globalist players as Sanoma (Bilderberg and Trilateral Commission) 7 and Bertelsmann. 8
Similar to the Leysen family behind Mediahuis, Bertelsmann, which owns the RTL Group, has historic ties to the European Round Table of Industrialists 9, and is a player within the Davos network. 10 Furthermore, Martin Taylor, who has been a director of RTL Group since its creation in 2000, vice chair since 2004, and chair since 2019 (which he still is going into 2025) 11, visited Bilderberg every year from 1993 to 2005, quickly becoming a steering committee member. From 2000 to 2005 he served as Bilderberg's honorary secretary general. 12 Afterwards he again visited from 2007 to 2011, and a final time in 2013. During his career Martin also represented Reuters, Barclays, the Bank of England and Goldman Sachs International. - Holland-Amerika Line / HAL Trust: Owns about 3% of the listed outlets, in this case BNR news radio (and podcast), which this author first learned about when it was spontaneously pushed on YouTube's frontpage after a fresh laptop install; and Dutch newspaper Het Financieel Dagblad, the Financial Times of the Netherlands.
Until 2010 Het Financieel Dagblad was owned by the Sijthoff family, generational members of Prince Bernhard's rather controversial 1001 Club, alongside the Rockefellers, Rothschilds and other elites. In 2010 the HAL Trust - founded after the old Holland Amerika Lijn was sold to American owners in 1989 - took over ownership. The well-connected Van der Vorm family has remained in control of the HAL Trust until the present day. Essentially no one has heard of the family, but it is the second-richest one of the Netherlands, behind the Brenninkmeijers, with an estimated fortune in 2024 of 8.4 billion euros. In part from the Bahamas, family members have been investing in oil and other businesses. They sold Grandvision over 2019-2021, the owner of Pearle, Eye Wish, and Ray-Ban. In 2024 they quietly acquired a majority-stake in Dutch household supply sensation chain Coolblue. 13 As reported about the family in 2019:
"Analysts told Bloomberg that both HAL and the Van der Vorm family are unusually secretive for their level of wealth and do not respond to requests for information. Both HAL's public documents and the website of their charitable foundation refer to family members only by their initials. ... The little that is known about the family's finances was revealed by the Panama Papers..." 14
In Rotterdam, which the Van der Vorms have a historical relationship with, they have been running philanthropic projects to pay the debts of people who have run into financial trouble, both related to energy bills as people who may well have tried to scam social services. 15 It's a supernice gesture, but one wonders if it really is the best use of money when Rotterdam is majority Third World by the 2020s. - Reed Elsevier (RELX): Owns about 1.7% of the listed outlets, which comes down to just the semi-right wing Elsevier magazine, that is mainly read by Dutch corporate managers. As a publisher, and the owner of the LexisNexis newspaper database, Elsevier has a lot of additional influence though, including over schoolbook content.
Whatever "RELX" is up to these days, historically Reed Elsevier has been part of the Dutch and globalist establishment. Similar to Mediahuis and Bertelsmann, it too was represented in the European Round Table of Industrialists. 16 A surprising number of top Reed Elsevier advisory board members and directors ended up in the "anti-Orange", "anti-Bilderberg", controlled opposition outfit the Republican Society in the late 1990s and 2000s, despite other Republican Society co-founders having visited Bilderberg, and 1999-2005 Reed Elsevier chairman Morris Tabaksblat also to be found at the Prince Bernhard Culture Fund. This is apart from 2003-2008 Reed Elsevier director Cees van Lede having visited Bilderberg in 1979, by the 1990s having become a Trilateral Commission member, in 2002 becoming a member of Prince Bernhard's 1001 Club. Reed Elsevier director since 2000, Lord Sharman, pops out to this author as well, as he has been a Pilgrim since 1993.
No doubt more elite ties are to be found. RELX is far from a non-globalist company. - Remaining: The above 7 entities control 96.7% of the top 60 or so media outlets. That leaves 3.3% for the rest. These are the devout Christian Reformatorisch Dagblad, an old antifa-type resistance newspaper called Vrij Nederland 17, the soccer magazine Voetbal International, and the politically-incorrect "conservative CIA"-type sites GeenStijl.nl and to a lesser degree PowNed, that were spun off for that reason by Mediahuis.
PowNed - which continually attacks Third World immigration, albeit in a bit of a "populist" manner - actually is broadcasted by state TV, immediately demonstrating it's controlled dissent. Both GeenStijl and PowNed used to be part of the large Telegraaf newspaper. To this day de Telegraaf regularly criticizes Third World immigration. It also is very pro-Israel. This contrasts it with the even bigger "lefty" news site Nu.nl. The Telegraaf only touches conspiracy disinformation though, distances itself from obvious conspiracies as "omvolking" (Dutch term for white replacement), and will never touch anything ISGP-related. It essentially is a milder Fox News of the Netherlands: "rightish", without the Christian religious aspect.
Ironically, the editor-in-chief of Voetbal International from 2000 to 2013 was Johan Derksen, ended up becoming Holland's most prominent semi-politically incorrect commentator, with regular jabs against Third World immigration, but in the end even Derksen knows where "the line behind the line" is. He's been almost off the air several times now, and certainly with all the legal threats these days, he's not going to make any difference to globalist policy.
There is still more media than this, of course. The U.S.-headquartered Hearst Corporation, for example, publishes a lot of Dutch magazines. One of them is the scientific magazine Quest, aimed at youths. A few years ago I almost bought an edition that was entirely dedicated to conspiracy debunking. The problem? Absolutely everything was focused on disinformative theories, such as moon landing hoaxes, chemtrails, 9/11-no-plane theories. It was just the perfect example of a psyop.
^Foreign or domestic, a lot or few: it barely matters
It has been interesting to take a bit of a look behind the scenes of the Dutch media landscape. I'm not entirely alone in this, as even state media have argued that it is peculiar that Belgian media giants DPG Media and Mediahuis together control, as we see here, about 75% of major Dutch media outlets. Government subsidies to the postal service, which in Belgium delivers the newspapers, are seen as the main cause for this. 18
However, Dutch, Belgian, or German control: it doesn't really matter. It all involves globalist-oriented multinationals anyway. Furthermore, it really doesn't seem to matter much whether there are 10, 20, or 60 independent media oulets. Truly independent corporations can't survive, certainly not those opposing the globalist movement. Several reasons can be found for that:
The Google-YouTube dictatorship
Bilderberg and Trilateral corporation Google - which also controls YouTube - is the company that controls all other companies, certainly news sites totally dependent on Google ranking. If these news sites don't tow the globalist, pro-immigration, pro-feminist, pro-LGBTQ line, they will get hidden ranking penalties, and soon will be out of business.
There's every indication still that corporations can't (and won't) effectively sue Google for that, as it's a globalist security issue. Google can get major fines for pushing other globalist rivals out of a market share, but that is about it. Since 2019 "conservative CIA" news sites as Breitbart, Newsmax, WorldNetDaily and the Washington Times all have been shamelessly downranked to the point no one can find them on Google without specifically adding their names to the search queries. What has been done about it? Nothing. Clearly because no one is supposed to do anything about it.
An interesting question to ask is too why in the early 2020s - right after Google started downranking / banning all "non-authoritative" alternative news and research sites, including all conservative ones - that all of a sudden huge numbers of mainstream media outlets started demanding that viewers pay for content again, this after two decades of dwindling income. It seems obvious that Google is artificially making sure that the masses are being driven to globalist-certified "authoritative" news sites, who now can start charging money for their content again. It gets even easier when DPG Media in particular owns so much media in a country that when it locks down all of its content on all of its news sites behind a paywall (which it does) that searching for alternatives gets harder and harder.
So I guess in that sense, cartel- and monopoly-forming in the news can be a big problem.
Ignoring
If you are truly independent, not just Google will censor you. You will also be completely and totally ignored in any other media outlet. Look at ISGP: Ignored for two decades, except very occasionally in the first 2 years when mainstream and alternative media outlets were still able to find it, and were not aware ISGP was not controlled opposition.
Working through social media is no option: your account will get secretly downranked or openly deleted, with you putting all your followers at risk of receiving the same treatment.
No funding
Part of the ignoring process involves multinationals refusing to advertize with you. And any smaller company doing so likely will be Google-censored, or face the same type of undermining you do - in this case ISGP.
Justice
These days it is very hard to write against Third World immigration in particular. Before you know you get sued or prosecuted - and a fair trial you can forget about. As you will find out, judges are above the law, and they are politically correct mercenaries of the state - who all cover each other's asses, including very often the lawyers that are supposed to defend you.
Deep cover control
Looking at the thousands of apparent deep cover conspiracy disinformation trolls active on shows as Coast to Coast AM, Rense, the Alex Jones Show, and in 9/11 "Truth"; the tens of thousands in social media comment sections; and thousands more running fourth-rate disinformation sites online, it very much seems that the globalist movement also has the ability to run a large number of media corporations from behind the scene in deep cover sense.
Also just looking at the shear amount of questionale people trying to influence my stances towards disinformation when ISGP still was largely uncensored by Google, was staggering. There's no doubt that if I ran a large media company, and somehow was able to circumvant Google censorship, that either my life would be in danger, or that at the very least my company would be infiltrated en masse by the security services, only to be ripped apart by internal strife.
Whenever I see multinationals as Amazon having to deal with internal pressure of such action groups as "Amazon Employees for Climate Justice" 19, I can only think of one thing: infiltration. Gerald James in his 1995 book 'In the Public Interest' is the only one to talk about this (see the left column of ISGP's Cercle article), as far as I'm aware, but it seems so obvious. Also looking how ultra-activist the employees of such corporations as Google are. They literally are recruitment centers for activists, or they are infiltrated.
^^ExtraNu.nl: Holland's biggest globalist propaganda and censorship news outlet
Nu.nl really had to be moved out of ISGP's "liberal CIA" oversight, because, although it pushes all the same viewpoints, it doesn't receive "liberal CIA" foundation funding. It's a for-profit newspaper.
The author could write a whole book by now just about the propaganda and censorship elements of Nu.nl. It not only is a major apologist for Third World immigration, subtlely pro-Palestine, and a promoter of feminism and LGBTQ, it also heavily polices its comment section, making it seem to its millions of readers as if there is no opposition in the Netherlands to any of these policies. On several occasions, the author sat ready with a videocamera in hand, pretty much always accurately predicting which replies would publicly appear and which ones would be stopped:
- Often allowed, but just as often deleted within minutes or hours: Individual experiences with Third World crime.
- Always blocked: Well-sourced ethnic crime statistics.
- Always blocked: Any mention of Soros or other foundation funding of news outlets linked to by Nu.nl.
- Blocked, or additional replies blocked, with only an army of trolls ordinarily breaking Nu.nl's house rules being allowed to reply: Any secret recording transcripts proving that Dutch justice is totally and completely corrupt.
There's no time to write such a book work. It should als be very obvious Nu.nl engages in globalist propaganda, although all other media does the same thing, with only De Telegraaf and "conservative CIA" outlets as GeenStijl.nl and PowNed providing a minor degree of balance. It's very sad state of affairs.
Nu.nl oversight copied from the "liberal CIA" article:
- Founded in 1999 (Webarchive documents the site since October 1999), Within weeks Nu.nl became the leading Dutch news aggregate website. By 2014 it had about 1 billion page views per month.
- Nu.nl is added here because since the early 2000s, this has been the number one go-to site of the creator of this entire "liberal CIA" oversight.
- In previous years - from 2007 to September 2016 - Nu.nl kept puzzling me for its NuJij.nl (NowYou.nl) page, topics of which were linked on Nu.nl's front page. Quite a bit of NuJij.nl involved conspiracy theorists who would post the most outrageous theories day and night. It was in-line with Nu.nl's "image" of being separate from the mainstream media's influence. Of course, there was little to no interest in fellow-Dutch conspiracy site ISGP by an endless stream of curious contributors and certainly not admins, who were regularly accused of removing tons of information they did not deem newsworthy. Yet, 95 percent of the bogus topics remained up.
- What continues to strike me since the November 2016 Trump election in particular is the endless amount of liberal establishment bias: almost every single heading is anti-Trump, pro-Black Lives Matter, pro-Third World immigration by hiding Third World immigrant crime numbers, and super-pro-global warming (a real but nevertheless propagandated issue). A few examples from the first half of November 2017:
- November 6, 2017, Nu.nl, 'Middelvinger naar Trump kost vrouw baan' ('Middle finger to Trump costs woman her job'): ""She said to be angry about the political climate in the US. "This was an opportunity to say something of it."" By carefully choosing words and selective omission this article basically is making an apology for the woman to insinuate the real problem in the U.S. is "a climate of fear" against immigrants.
- November 13, 2017, Nu.nl, 'Trump draagt in hoog tempo blanke mannen voor als rechter' ('In high tempo Trump is appointing white men as judge'). Apparently it's a crime these days to appoint for 91% white people.
- November 10, 2017, Nu.nl, 'Waarom is er zoveel weerstand tegen het veranderen van Zwarte Piet? 'Sinterklaas is zonder veranderingen ten dode opgeschreven'' ('Why is there so much resistance to changing Black Piet?' 'Without change Santa Claus is doomed'): "There is even a scientific term for this, resistance to change. ... Outside the Netherlands there is almost no one who understands why such a large part of the population here is defending the 'racist' tradition, Van Grinneken explains. He points to the UN report that three years ago condemned the child feast. "After the civil liberties of the 1960s Americans don't look at Piet anymore as a neutral figure. They are really decades ahead when it comes to racism discussions.""
Note: these comments are despicable. The United States has been extremely divided through racism for decades. With more and more and more foreigners pouring into our country since the late 1980s, it is now happening here too. - November 14, 2017, Nu.nl, 'De angstaanjagende buitenlandse hulpjes van Sinterklaas' ('The frightening foreign aides of Santa Claus'): This article clearly is trying to convey the message that the Dutch concept of Black Piet is relatively new and that plenty of alternatives can be found.
- January 6, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Waarom vallen de vrouwonvriendelijke woorden van Boef juist zo verkeerd?' ('Why do the women-unfriendly words of Thief (Boef) so wrong?'): An amazingly coy title, considering this famous French-Algerian-Dutch rapper that you can't beat off the Dutch television for some reason referred to (Dutch) women "who go out alone at night and drink alcohol [as] 'kechs' (whores)". As already discussed in enormous detail by ISGP in the months before this article came out, ALL Muslims youths and their parents who come over here, look at our women as whores - hence why we've had such a giant gang assault problem with Muslims on white girls. Funny enough, rap has also come to the West through all these Third World societies. On January 21, 2018 Nu.nl published another article on the "affair", 'Hoe Boef een gigantische mediarel naar zijn hand zette' ('How Thief put a gigantic media riot to his hand'), in which once again Nu.nl walked around the whole point that Thief's opinions are a massive Muslim cultural problem - not just a "rap issue".
- January 26, 2017, Nu.nl, 'Klassieke Nederlandse helden onder vuur: 'Het is een botsing van culturen'' ('Classical Dutch heroes under fire: 'It is a collision of cultures''). This prominent weekend article is another stunner. Turns out that a debate has now started about changing the names of our schools and streets that refer to colonial era heroes due to Third World immigration, similar to the changing of Zwarte Piet.
- Nu.nl continues to push questionable news on immigration and, despite allowing comments again in 2018 by bringing back NuJij.nl:
- February 1, 2018, Nu.nl, ''Buurt met asielzoekerscentrum niet onveiliger'' (''Neighborhood with asylum center not more unsafe''): "That is the conclusion of [government] research institute WODC... In 2015 between 2.5 and 3.7 percent of asylum migrants were suspected of crime, compared to 1.2 of the regular population... "[This is because it usually involves young men", the WODC writes in the investigation"" Because of Nu.nl's history of reporting questionable ethnic crime figures based on questionable government research, I decided to look up the report. Guess what? Even at publication is was never made available to the public. Obviously, as usual, these reports mix all crime, from tax fraud to violent gang rape, and all migrants (and asylum centers might limit crime because of more oversight). Never published by NU.nl, for example, is the fact that African blacks in the Netherlands have 15 times the overall rape numbers and 20+ times the street/gang rape numbers - which has been known for a long time. This brings us to the following report.
- August 8, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Man (18) langer vast voor verkrachting en poging doodslag vrouw Rotterdam' ('Man (18) held longer for rape and manslaughter Rotterdam woman'): "According to different media, the victim is an international student from Indonesia.... The police ... can't confirm this information for privacy reasons."
The Indonesian background has repeatedly been mentioned by Nu.nl, likely to push the narrative that "predominantly white rape victims is just myth". Already with earlier news articles on these issue, the comment sections were quickly shut down and talk about ethnicity of the perpetrator banned.
This time Nu.nl staffers became more clear: COMMENT SECTION: "It is not allowed to speculate about the ethnic background of the [violent street rape] suspect. Replies about this are irrelevant, don't add anything at the moment and thus will be removed. Apart from that, replies first have to be sanctioned by an editor before they appear."
Around June 2019 the ethnicity of the perpetrator could be figured out through a court drawing and a name: Gerson F. He's black. - October 23, 2018, Nu.nl, 'American molests woman in airplane 'because President Trump allows it''.
- November 23, 2018, nu.nl, 'Five years of jail for group rape of Dutch women in Belgium' ('Vijf jaar cel voor groepsverkrachting van Nederlandse vrouwen in België'), comment section within first minutes of post (12 replies, 6 of 8 relevant ones removed) (this case is known to involve Arab/black group rape): "The discussion for this article has been closed. ... Balconius: You are being kept busy with this article today, Joppe. Only few comments come in that can withstand your [no "racism"] instructions. :). [Editor: JoppeVarkeVisser] Hoi Balconius, fortunately we are very patient [with our censorship]!"
- April 2020 Nu.nl article indicating immigrant violence, editor's notice put up after letting just 3 comments through (unfortunately I only kept a screenshot of the comment section, so lost the article): "You cannot reply to this article anymore. Too many hurtful replies came in which on various points violated our house rules. Filtering these replies is costing us too much time which we would rather be spending on other discussions at Nujij. Underneath those articles you are more than welcome. Thank you!"
- On, or shortly before, January 4, 2010, the Nu.nl team went even further with controlling what independent information readers can find on the site by introducing a option to its comment section described as: "Uitgelichte reacties: Reacties die ons team de moeite waard vindt om te lezen." Fully translated: "Selected replies: Reactions that our team thinks are worth reading." Coincidentally, the first time I noticed this option was with the January 4, 2020 Nu.nl article entitled 'Iran zweert wraak en benoemt opvolger van door VS gedode generaal' ('Iran swears revenge and names follow-up of US-killed general'). Obviously, western elites are extremely opposed to the killing of General Qassem Soleimani and obsessed with tarring Trump. The fact that Irans keeps provoking the entire world by supporting terrorist regimes and groups and kept working on long-distance ICBMs during the nuclear treaty with the United States, shows that it is one of the most dangerous countries alive.
- Dezmeliv_Livho: "That that Soleimani wasn't a sweetheart doesn't need any explanation, but what those Americans now have done is only bring instability to the whole world... I hope that our [prime minister] Rutte strongly condems thios deed [from these] war-loving Americans. ... It is about time that Europe turns its back on these Americans becvause this is how they drag us into a war which we do not want..."
- Ciske: "The US is already hated for decades for their actions in the Middle East and still they keep throwing fuel on the fire. [Only good] for the American arms trade. Too bad that with that they draw the entire world, European in particular, into a conflict that no one is waiting for."
- DrMark: "I believe history teaches us that in general only chaos emerges when the US is going on a foreign adventure. ... As far as it concerns me, the US is aiming for a slap on the wrist from the UN, for a reckless action for which the consequences can barely be overseen. [This] doesn't bring peace to the Middle Easy any closer."
- Turns out, the "Selected replies" option only appears at this point, in January 2019, in news topics that appear to be "sensitive". Nu.nl also pushes opinion... Below an additional example showing that Nu.nl is completely in line with the pro-nuclear-Iran globalist agenda.
- January 8, 2020, Nu.nl, 'Trump: Geen militaire actie, wel nieuwe sancties tegen Iran' ("Selected replies"; note: Iran kept developing ICBMs during the nuclear treaty, fights a terrorist proxy war against the Sunnis and Israel, has taken over Iraq, lied about sending oil tankers to Syria, apparently carried out several attacks on ships in the Gulf and a Saudi Arabian refinery - with Gen. Soleimani being killed alongside Kata'ib Hezbollah, a group that film s attacks on American troops and is designated a terrorist organization, with Trump explaining he received intel that Soleimani was planning a terrorist attack.):
- "Selected reply": "Both countries are not looking for war, but Trump does impose sanction on Iran? Is that a step closer to peace? No, of course not. Of course Iran will not do what America is asking of them. It is about time that the EU, world leaders and presidents impose sanctions on Trump."
- "Selected reply": "America has killed an Iranian general. And Iran reacted with a proportial action. From which it turns out that they were not after escalation. And also weren't the aggressor. .... [Trump] couldn't react aggressive again. Because then he would have had glob al opinion against him."
- "Selected reply": "I have a few question to Trump: 1) are Americans safer now that a week ago? 2) which advantage has been achieved by the attack [uses "aanslag" - only used in the context of "terrorist attack" in Dutch] on Soleimani?"
- "Selected reply" of "Persianproud": "A proportional action [Iran gave]. Through that they have let it know that they hit back back, but are not looking for escalation. I think that the US has understood the message acter this action."
- November 27, 2020, Nu.nl, 'Prominente Iraanse atoomwetenschapper omgekomen bij aanslag' ('Prominent Iranian nuclear scientist died in attack'):
- Top reply of "rob4" with 29 likes: "The nuclear program has indeed been shut down in 2003. And since 2015 Iran has perfectly complied with the JCPOA, while the US, before they stepped out, already intimidated countries not to invest in Iran. With the ending of the treaty by the US (under Trump), Iran has been authorized to not stick to it anymore (see paragraph 36 of the treaty) and enrich more uranium, steps which they each time announced beforehand."
- Top reply of "Naamdrager" with 21 likes: "What I never understood is, why are almost all contries allowed to develop and have nuclear weapons, but not Iran? I understand that many do not agree with the Iranian rule of law or form of government, but then it never stops if you realize that there are so many other countries with wrong governments and such. Those accusations can always be made in reverse. So why this unfair one-sidedness and discrimination on nuclear weapons possession?"
- Nov. 27, 2020 tweets of former CIA director @JohnBrennan: "This was a criminal act & highly reckless. It risks lethal retaliation & a new round of regional conflict. Iranian leaders would be wise to wait for the return of responsible American leadership on the global stage & to resist the urge to respond against perceived culprits. ...
I do not know whether a foreign government authorized or carried out the the murder of Fakhrizadeh. ...
These assassinations are far different than strikes against terrorist leaders & operatives of groups like al-Qaida & Islamic State, which are not sovereign states. As illegitimate combatants under international law, they can be targeted in order to stop deadly terrorist attacks."
- Throughout early 2017 Nu.nl has reported on international Trump protests as if they were grassroots (they weren't). Then on June 14, 2017, under its new "NuCheckt" fake news fact checker, it publishes an article with the heading 'NUcheckt: CNN puts Muslim protest in scene'. How about news websites start talking about how a giant network of NGOs are putting these protests in scene with help of media as CNN? It's at that point that this Nu.nl entry was created. It might be interesting to keep an eye on topics NuCheckt! decides to debunk:
- June 19, 2017: 'NUcheckt: Can Breatharians live on light and air alone?' (update: this article appears to be a copy and translation of a very similar Snopes.com debunking piece published on June 14)
- June 20, 2017: 'Nucheckt: Are the Rothschilds so rich that they can give every citizen on Earth 70 million dollars? 'Influential bankers family has control over the world wide financial system' (goes into a "rumor" spread by gewoon-nieuws.nl and how it is anti-Semitic. Nevermind it is a "rumor" spread by 10,000 other conspiracy authors since the beginning of the 20th century)
- Another example showing the international character of Third World immigration propaganda can be found below. I immediately became suspicious upon seeing the top Nu.nl headline ("Oh, the children!"), predictably coinciding with newspaper headlines around the world and top superclass support (meanwhile, Nu.nl was almost live doing updates on a Doctors Without Borders (group founded by David Rockefeller and son)-allied ship that was bringing "refugees" from North Africa to Europe (why not help them over there?), but was denied entry into Italy by the new "populist" government):
- June 15, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Bijna 4.000 kinderen van ouders gescheiden door immigratiewet VS' ('Almost 4,000 kids separated from parents due to US immigration law'): "Because of the [new] immigration law, all illegal immigrants in the US are seen as criminals [note: and why shouldn't they?]. If the parents are detained, the children are placed under the care of the Department of Health."
- June 16, 2018, Time magazine, 'Family Separation of 2,000 Migrant Kids Under Trump Policy'.
- June 16, 2018 tweet of superclass member Gen. Michael Hayden (former NSA and CIA director and member of the anti-Trump Committee to Investigate Russia): "[Picture of Auschwitz] Other governments have separated mothers and children."
- June 16, 2018, Democrat congressman Henry Cuellar on CNN (not discussed anywhere in the liberal media): "I don't know what image you are using [of the detention centers], but I released some of those photos [back in 2014] because it was kept very quiet under the Obama administration ... about those young kids who were kept there. ... Some of them were coming on their own. ... Keep in mind that under the law you can separate a child if that person is not the real parent or custodian [which happens] or if there is a criminal offense. But you seeing this zero tolerence... that's an area to look at."
- June 19, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Rutte vindt beelden migrantenkinderen VS schrijnend' ('[Prime Minister] Rutte thinks images of migrant children poignant').
- June 20, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Nieuwslezer biedt excuses aan voor huilen op tv' ('News reader apologizes for crying on tv' (involves the virulent anti-Trump propagandist Rachel Maddow crying about migrant children separated from their illegally arrived parents).
- June 18, 2018, MSN/AP, 'Inside a Border Patrol facility, children wait in cages'.
- August 2018, New York Times, 'Judge Upholds Order for Trump Administration to Restore DACA': "The Trump administration announced late last year that it would phase out the program known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA... Judge John D. Bates of the Federal District Court for the District of Columbia ... on Friday upheld his previous order to revive [this] Obama-era program [DACA] that shields some 700,000 young immigrants from deportation... DACA recipients — often called "Dreamers" — typically were brought to the United States illegally as children through no choice of their own."
- April 29, 2017, Nu.nl, ''Politie vroeg Telegraaf te zwijgen over cijfers criminele asielzoekers'' ('''Police aksed Telegraaf [newspaper] to be silent about numbers on criminal asylum seekers'): ""It was not good of us that we said that no numbers existed and that subsequently we couldn't release them in light of an ongoing investigation", according to the [police] spokesperson. "It was not smart and, on top of that, against the law... Then we tried to come to terms with De Telegraaf by offering them another stort. That also was not communicated in a smart matter. We regret that it looked as if were interested in negotiating a deal in return for silence.""
- Handling of George Soros bomb letter incident:
- October 23, 2018, Nu.nl, 'Miljardair en filantroop George Soros krijgt bom in brievenbus': "The 88-year-old Soros, who hails from Hungary and survived the Holocaust, made a fortune with an investment fund [largely by causing nation-wide panics]. With his Open Society Foundations he is working to spread democracy and the strengtening of the justice state [actually totally undermining it]. Due to his activism and Jewish background he is a preferred target of conservatives and extreme-right groups and continually the subject of conspiracy theories [many of the theories are fact and ISGP, for starters, is liberal, with the extreme groups ran by the security services]."
- Strange nicknames, among others generic sayings, all words strung together with only lower-case letters (Nov. 4, 2020, Nu.nl, 'Trump vecht tellen van stemmen aan in drie belangrijke swingstaten'.):
- Nu.nl has been owned by Bilderberg for a long time and potentially/likely has CIA ties:
- While it appears to have been founded as a legitimate grassroots new media organization, in 2000 the original founders sold it for 9 million euros to the large publishing company VNU Media, which a year later later sold it on to the Finnish media concern Sanoma Media.
- Chief Sanoma owner and chairman was Aatos Erkko (1932-2012), a name that appeared on a supposed "CIA sources" list of former CIA deputy director of operations Robert Crowley. The list is controversial, and rightly so, but no one has analyzed it more in-depth than ISGP. Turns out, the list consisting of 2,619 names is a basic Association of Former Intelligence Officers list of the 1990s (I cross-checked with a 1996 one), which includes about 100 additional names which Crowley apparently was aware of were "non-CIA personnel who regularly assisted the Agency in matters of public relations." While the list is not reliable, the coincidence is pretty amazing, especially because only a tiny handful non-U.S. names appear on the list. Granted, Aatos Erkko, with as address listed "Helsingin Sanomat, Helsinki, Finland", could have been lifted at random from a Bilderberg list, as he visited this conference in 1991 and 1994 at the very least. That still means he's "liberal CIA", however, as David Rockefeller and Henry Kissinger, two long-time key Bilderbergers, have been working hand-in-glove with various CIA directors since the 1950s.
- Turns out, after creating this entry, that Sanoma is a staple of Bilderberg. Apart from Erkko, Sanoma president Mikael Pentikainen visited Bilderberg in 2005 and 2011. Without looking deeper, there may be more Sanoma executives who have visited Bilderberg. But certainly claiming Nu.nl is following the Bilderberg route is far less silly than one might initially suspect. It is also strong evidence that Bilderberg elites, in coordination with the CIA, are involved in keeping false conspiracy debates going. Dutch Bilderberg participant Herman Wijffels, through his ties to 9/11 "Truth" and UFO disinformation networks, is also evidence of this from the Netherlands.
- Together with the Bertelsman-owned RTL Group and billionaire John de Mol (whose Big Brother show, btw, is linked to the rise of major Dutch youth news site Fok!), Sanoma dominates the Dutch online publication, print publication and television market. The influence of these networks extend to many countries in Europe, as well as to the United States.
- Before it was taken over by major firms, Nu.nl was founded and operated by Kees Zegers, Merien ten Houten (earlier the founder of then-popular Ilse search engine) and Sacha Prins, with a founding partnership with the 1934-founded ANP (Algemeen Nederlands Persbureau), Holland's major Dutch press bureau and essential for providing copyrighted images. Deals with the NOS and PCM feel through.
- March 8, 2022, Nu.nl, 'Het ontstaan van NU.nl: 'Binnen enkele weken de populairste nieuwssite van het land'' (article about Merien ten Houten).
- anp.nl (accessed: June 22, 2000): "The ANP represents in the Nederlands the press bureaus Agence France Presse (AFP), Deutsche Presse Agentur (DPA), EFE (Spain) en Belga (Belgium)."
- anp.nl/wist/i_anp.html (accessed: Feb. 8, 2001): "Van oudsher voorziet het ANP de Nederlandse dagbladen en omroepen van actueel geschreven nieuws."
- The reasons why they grew so quickly:
- They always had a very basic, attractive design.
- They were making instant online news updates in an era that the traditional print and television media didn't yet understand this concept. Only the Volkskrant maintained an online website back when Nu.nl was founded.
- Because the mainstream media did not understand this instant publication concept, Nu.nl was able to deliver scoops, especially with the 2000 Enschede fireworks disaster, which took place on a Saturday afternoon, meaning most print media could only report on it on Monday evening. And also with an MSN Hotmail hack exploit, most likely the one of August 2000 (there also was one in August 1999).
- On November 5, 1999, Nu.nl, soon after its founding, Nu.nl was the first and only media outlet to publish a column of Pim Fortuyn (assassinated under curious circumstances on May 5, 2002, one week before the prime minister elections he almost certainly was going to win). The entire mainstream media had refused to print the column, including Elsevier. It was published under the heading 'De geweigerde column' on Nu.nl.
- May 9, 2014, Nu.nl, ''We waren drie jongens met het juiste idee op het juiste moment'': "Ten Houten, Zegers and Prins sold NU.nl in 2000 for 9 million euros to [major] publisher VNU, which a year later was bought by the present owner Sanoma."
- On July 16, 2021 I noticed that all of a sudden Nu.nl wants you to login to see more than half a dozen replies to articles. Which is interesting, considering 3 weeks before I did my comment section censorship experiments with Nu.nl, which I was looking to repeat. Now it's clear that even less people are going to see the comments, which might well be what Nu.nl wants in general, as it is heavily modding the comments section.
^Notes
- May 7, 2012, AD.nl, ''Moord op Pim Fortuyn was een geniaal complot'' (''Murder of Pim Fortuyn was a genius plot''): "Thriller writer Tomas Ross is angry that the murder of Pim Fortuyn ten years ago 'was not investigated on the theory that there was not one, but two gunmen who fired bullets at the politician'. ... The writer, together with Theo van Gogh, among others, started their own investigation shortly after Fortuyn's murder in 2002." The Algemeen Dagblad (AD) is the second largest Dutch newspapers. The largest Dutch newspaper, the Telegraaf, published a similar article on the same day under the heading ''Moordcomplot op Fortuyn niet goed onderzocht'' (''Murder plot on Fortuyn not investigated properly'').
