"Beyond Dutroux" ties to France: Child abuse networks reportedly exploited by ''notables''
This site has dealt a lot with the topic of elite child abuse networks and pedophile entrapment ever since the 2007 article Beyond the Dutroux Affair, the first time the Dutroux X-Dossiers were made public. Various additions were written to this initial article.
In the original Beyond Dutroux article, newspaper clippings related to abuse cases in France had been reproduced on the left side of the page. These newspaper reports are discussed in more detail in this article, with several additions having been made. The content of this article is considerably less shocking than information that can be found in Beyond Dutroux, but it's nevertheless a good first look at where research in France should be focused in order to one day unearth more information.
Cases are discussed one by one, in no particular order.
One child abuse case in France pertained to a 2005 scandal in the town of Angers, located roughly 180 miles (300 km) to the South-West of Paris. As there is no additional information on the more wealthy customers of this ring, we will leave it at this summary of Time magazine:
"Police are still searching for a group of men, who the children say arrived at Franck V.'s apartment in suits and ties, with their faces hidden behind masks — a striking contrast to the largely uneducated, unemployed defendants who fill the courtroom in rumpled sweatshirts and scuffed sneakers. Franck V.'s lawyer Pascal Rouiller says he is convinced the men were part of a sophisticated network of pedophiles who tapped into Angers' underbelly as word of the prostitution ring spread. They brought in customers who "had money, made appointments, and were punctual," Rouiller says. One man paid €458 for one sexual assault on a child, and Franck V.'s wife, Patricia, regularly took in about €1,200 a month. "Franck had telephone calls from the whole of France," says Rouiller. "He's a poor miserable man with no intelligence. He had no reason to have contact with people in Montpellier or Lille." Much like the pedophilia scandal that rocked Belgium in 1996, Angers is awash in suspicions that a wider ring of wealthy customers was among the child rapists, and is still at large." [1] |
Another child abuse case involved the 1997 suicide of retired Auxerre gendarme officer Christian Jambert. Even after his retirement, Jambert had continued to investigate disappearances of seven young women from an institution for mentally disabled persons, overseen by France's Departmental Health and Social Affairs (DDAS). Back in the early 1980s Jambert already linked these disappearances to serial killer, pedophile and Foreign Legion veteran Emile Louis, who had already been convicted for indecent exposure and murder by that time. Authorities didn't want to hear about these ties to Louis. [2] However, almost 20 years later, in 2000, Louis admitted to having raped and killed these women, leading to the discovery of two of these victims. A month later he retracted his testimony again, but was convicted in 2004 for these murders, as well as for having raped and tortured his last wife and a daughter-in-law. More than 20 other women went missing over the years while under the care of the DASS in the Yonne region. [3]
In 2004 Jambert's son managed to pressure the authorities into having his father's body exhumed and to carry out a postmortem, something which had been skipped the first time around. The postmortem revealed that Jambert had been shot in the head by two different types of guns. Both shots would have been immediately fatal, leading to the conclusion that Jambert had been murdered. [4] The question is: on whose orders?
Over the years hints emerged that a pedophile torture network was active surrounding the institute for mentally disabled women. Louis and his mistress were actually involved in taking care of some of the disabled women. In 1989, Pierre Charrier, the director of this special institute was caught raping a female patient in the back of his car, for which he received a six-year prison sentence. [5] In 1984 there was another curious and related incident:
"The case for the conspiracy theorists was further strengthened in 1984 when a horribly mutilated woman escaped from a house in a village close to Auxerre and led police to a cellar where she and two others had been imprisoned for up to three months and subjected to appalling abuse. "A list of 50 people, rumored to include several French 'notables' who had paid various rates to torture and abuse the women, was discovered by police. "It would later go missing from a courtroom in Auxerre, and only Claude Dunand, a factory worker and his wife, Monique - who both lived in the house - were jailed." [6] |
That torture home belonged to Claude and Monique Dunand, friends of pedophile serial killer Emile Louis. Both ended up in prison, although Claude Dunant only served 10 years of a lifetime sentence. According to Yonne district crime reporter Ludovic Berger, Claude Dunand "has always said that politicians, industrialists and magistrates were involved but he has refused to name them." Reportedly more than 100 case files on murdered and missing persons from the 1958 to 1982 period vanished, with court ledgers documenting these investigations also having gone missing. [7]
Clearly something very fishy was going on in Auxerre.
Just when the affair in Auxerre was winding down with the conviction of Emile Louis, and about a year before the Angers case, the adventures of another serial killer, Patrice Alegre, made the news. This affair is a little bit more interesting to discuss, because Alegre's reported lover was Dominique Baudis, mayor of Toulouse from 1983 to 2001. In this position Baudis actually had succeeded his father, Pierre, the mayor of Toulouse from 1971 to 1983.
As it turns out, Pierre Baudis was a political associate of Antoine Pinay, official founder of the CIA and Opus Dei-linked Cercle Group, which also has various ties to pedophile entrapment networks. There are not enough details, however, to precisely know how close an associate Pierre Baudis was of Antoine Pinay, though they most definitely were political allies in the the 1960s. [8]
As was the case with the Auxerre network, the British media did a decent amount of reporting on the affair. The Guardian on June 6, 2003:
"L'Express reported that a judicial inquiry in Toulouse, closed to the public, had been told that Mr Baudis, a former TV newsreader, was known as Nénette and had met the killer at a city hotel for sado-masochistic sessions. A former call girl, "Patricia", told magistrates that she had been "offered" to Mr Baudis by Alegre at a Toulouse flat where she underwent three hours of torture that left scars. L'Express says she described Mr Baudis as Alegre's lover." [9] |
The Daily Telegraph on June 27, 2003, further elaborated on the story:
"Alegre, 35, is already serving a life sentence for murdering 10 women and raping two others. But police have continued investigating the unsolved murders of other young women during the 1990s, which they believed might be linked to him. Earlier this year they interviewed two prostitutes, Patricia and Fanny, who told them that he was in fact the pimp for a group of senior local government officials, supposedly explaining why it had taken so long to catch him. After repeated questioning, Alegre confirmed the prostitutes' claims. He said he organised sex parties at a city-owned mansion just outside Toulouse, providing cocaine, under-age girls and torture devices. Howls emanating from the mansion prompted neighbours to tell police they feared animals were being sacrificed and the prostitutes said three girls were killed during these orgies... "[In total] a serial killer, two prostitutes and a transvestite... said they had seen M Baudis at the orgies." [10] |
These accusations may sound extreme to persons who are not familiar with the Belgian X-Dossiers or related cases, but accusations like these are more common than persons might initially think. And, also when comparing to other cases, almost certainly Baudis' name and these accusations are the tip of the iceberg.
Unsurprisingly, Baudis was able to escape prosecution. Baudis himself actually explained to the media how he had been confronted with Patricia, one of the prostitutes, immediately the first time he was brought in for questioning. About this meeting he bragging, "Eye to eye, all I saw was an evasive look and a lowered gaze." Patricia, who should have never been confronted immediately with a person who could have traumatized or intimidated her, was subsequently put in jail for "fabricating evidence". [11] Baudis, on the other hand, remained in place as head of the Conseil Superieur de l'Audiovisuel (CSA), a position he had been appointed to by Jacques Chirac and held from 2001 to 2007. In 2009 it was Nicholas Sarkozy who almost mockingly appointed him to Counsel des Droits (Council of Rights), a government body tasked with defending basic human rights of French civilians. Baudis has also been a member of the European Parliament from 1984 to 1989, from 1994 to 1999, and from 2009 to 2011. During these terms he served as vice president of the Foreign Affairs Committee and deputy director of the Culture Committee.
During the course of finishing ISGP's index of institutes and the related Superclass Index, Baudis' name came up on several more occasions, despite being a relatively low level politician. A first coincidence is that Baudis' name appears in a list of historical speakers at the World Trade Center Association in Brussels. As the reader can see in the list of institutes, about half of the speakers and all of the founders of the association have either been directly accused of involvement in (sadistic and murderous) child abuse networks or have been strongly associated with it - so Baudis certainly appears to have been in good company when attending meetings of this club. Etienne Davignon, whom he probably knows well due to their shared work for the European Union, sticks out in particular. Davignon gave speeches in 1988 and 2002; Baudis in 2003. [12]
Update: Lord Leon Brittan, in January 2015 accused of deep involvement in establishment pedophile parties in Great Britain back in the 1980s, gave a speech to the World Trade Center Association in Brussels in 1997. Guess we have another one. [12]
In 2007 French president Jacques Chirac appointed Baudis president of France's Arab World Institute, which maintains ties with about two dozen Arab countries at the diplomatic level, including Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain, Egypt, Libya and other countries. [13] This appears to be a very important position. Possibly Baudis' foreign affairs expertise at the European Parliament played a role in the appointed, in addition to having friends in the right places.
1) Former European Commission president Jacques Delors with his good friend Etienne Davignon at the Royal Institute for International Relations (Egmont), a group with quite a few alleged pedophiles on the board [57], including long-time chairman Etienne Davignon. In addition, Jacques Delors' name appears in the Belgian ATLAS dossier as an associate of the notorious Felix Przedborski and his Mossad- and Russian mafia-related "nebula" network. According to this document he was at a discussion that involved a representative of Belgium's Caissee Privee Bank, deeply linked to criminal activities and Belgium's worst alleged child abusers. [58] 2) Foreign minister Philippe Douste-Blazy, an accused pedophile, walking behind Angela Merkel and Jacques Chirac; 3) Dominique Baudis with President Nicolas Sarkozy, years after Baudis' controversy of allegedly being involved in a sadistic torture and murder ring.
Speaking of the Middle East, Baudis may actually have a tie to the Carlyle Group, with Carlyle partner, George H. W. Bush, of course having been accused of child abuse. [14] Bush, Carlucci and their friend Ted Shackley were all rather closely linked to operating these pedophile entrapment networks. [15] The Saudis, who were in business with Carlyle, have been linked to these kind of practices. [16] So Baudis appointment to the board of Le Figaro in this period might have been more than just a coincidence.
From 1999 to 2002 Carlyle took a 40% interest in Le Figaro. Robert Hersant, linked to these extremist French elements, kept a 60 percent stake. [17] In May 2000 Baudis was brought in as chairman of Le Figaro's editorial board. Baudis would have stayed on if President Chirac hadn't given him a government post in January 2001. [18] This fact is what got some people speculating that Baudis might have been or become a trusted agent of the Carlyle Group.
True or not, it appears that Baudis was somewhat comfortable with ultra-right elements traditionally linked to the CIA. Le Figaro, as well as its Figaro Magazine, actually has a history of maintaining extensive ties to the ultra-right, to persons linked to the OAS, Le Cercle, Nazi General Otto Skorzeny, and the anti-communist Moonie Cult. [19] As discussed, quite possibly Baudis' father, Pierre, already had ties to this group, as Pierre was a political ally of Cercle founder Antoine Pinay. Another element in France that is tied to the Cercle network is Jacques Chirac, one of Dominique Baudis' patrons. It's not very well known, but a fact nonetheless, that Chirac has always had ties to the anti-communist ultra-right of Jean Marie Le Pen and related persons. This is something I personally noticed through research on Le Cercle. For example, Jacques Chirac, in addition to being prime minister and president of France, was also the mayor of Paris from 1977 to 1995. His deputy mayor from 1977 to 1989, Monique Garnier-Lancon, had never-ending ties to ultra-right-wing groups as the American Security Council, Le Cercle, the Western European Defence Association, the American Foreign Policy Council and many related groups in both the United States and Europe. [20] Strangely, there has only been one major newspaper worldwide, which published one or two articles that confirmed my own observations:
"At international level there are several institutes and think tanks run by the apostles of anticommunism, cold war hawks, national security ideologues, and professional exponents of the strategy of tension. The most influential of these bodies are usually controlled and financed by the CIA and American military intelligence, for which they work. They include the American Security Council, the Foreign Affairs Research Institute, the Centre for Strategic and International Studies, the National Strategic Information Centre and the Heritage Foundation. The best-known in France are the World Anti-Communist League (WACL) and Causa, both of which are financed by the Moonie sect... "Chirac's own Rassemblement pour la Republique (RPR) has long striven to win over activists from extreme rightwing movements like Occident, Ordre Nouveau, the Groupe Union Defense (GUD), and the Parti des Forces Nouvelles (PFN), who have been given positions of responsibility and are to be found in the entourage of the new Interior Minister, Charles Pasqua, and of Chirac himself. ... "Politicians like Alain Griotteray and Nice mayor Jacques Medecin play the role of middlemen between the right and the far right. [Figaro owner] Robert Hersant has been responsible for offering an outlet in his newspapers for an ideology formerly confined to the pages of small-circulation partisan and extremist publications. Figaro Magazine (edited by Louis Pauwels, who frequently attends Causa conferences) has opened its pages to the spokesmen of the new right from the GRECE and the Club de l'Horloge, such as Alain de Benoist, Jean-Claude Vala and Patrice de Plunkett..." [21] |
Looking at these names, this article mentions three visitors of Le Cercle: Charles Pasqua, Jacques Medecin and Alain Griotteray, of which the first two can certainly be tied to illegal covert operations. [22] Le Figaro was deeply part of it. Was or is Baudis too?
Certainly under President Nicolas Sarkozy, Baudis' prestige kept rising. Consider this 2011 press release, for example, of the Spanish royal court:
"Prince Felipe and Princess Letizia [of Spain] will travel to Paris to attend the VIIth International Congress of Victims of Terrorism. The Congress takes place on the 15th, 16th and 17th of September 2011. Their Royal Highnesses are members of the Honorary Committee with Nicolas Sarkozy, Lionel Jospin, José María Aznar, Dominique Baudis and Bertrand Delanoe." [23] |
Jose Aznar, the right-wing Spanish prime minister from 1996 to 2004, was a protege of Manuel Fraga Irabarne, an elitist with major fascist ties who has visited Le Cercle and was a member of the 1001 Club. In the 1970s he was a member of the Académie Europeene des Sciences Politique (AESP), which had great overlap with Le Cercle and was equally tied to Opus Dei and the Knights of Malta. Reported pedophile entrapper, child torturer and CIA asset Baron de Bonvoisin was involved in these groups with Fraga. The same goes for Paul vanden Boeynants, a close friends of de Bonvoisin with similar accusations against his person. The Madrid train bombings occurred under Aznar's final term as prime minister of Spain, just days before his potential reelection in 2004. Aznar immediately sought to blame the ETA, but this only raised suspicious as to his motives. Newspapers and the public began accusing him of having opened up the country to terrorism by getting involved in the Iraq War, a move at the time opposed by over 90 percent of the population. As a result he lost the elections. As persons can see in ISGP's index of institutes, in more recent years Aznar has been involved in more than half a dozen American and British neoconservative groups since he left office. The International Congress of Victims of Terrorism isn't mentioned in this list, because there's no clear information on high level participants. However, the group, which brings together victims of terrorist attacks as 9/11 and the Madrid bombings, does have all the hallmarks of another neoconservative-ran operation. And Baudis was prominently involved with it.
French president Nicolas Sarkozy, who attended the International Congress of Victims of Terrorism with Baudis, has more obvious indirect ties to pedophilia than Aznar. In 2009, Sarkozy's minister of culture, Frederic Mitterand, a nephew Francois Mitterand, president of France from 1981 to 1995, became embroiled in controversy when he was publicly calling for the release of Roman Polanski over accusations that he once raped a then 13-year-old-girl (apparently the victim had forgiven him). Critics soon began to highlight a few lines in Mitterand's autobiography:
"I got into the habit of paying for boys ... All these rituals of the market for youths, the slave market excited me enormously ... the abundance of very attractive and immediately available young boys put me in a state of desire." [24] |
Mitterand defended himself that these "young boys" were legally adults, although this would hardly make his behavior less questionable. An old, not-too-attractive government official having sex with poor, young Thai boys? It's questionable under all circumstances. At the very least he should have made it clear that these "boys" were over the legal age of 18. In any case, members of Sarkozy's government called criticism on Mitterand over these lines "pathetic". Possibly even worse, Sarkozy himself referred to Mitterand's confession as "couragious". [25] Mitterand's past behavior was never investigated deeper.
The case of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, which began in May 2011, is by far the most well-known sexual abuse-related affair involving a French politician. Although there's no clear evidence that minors were victimized, these rumors do exist, and it may be a good idea in general to get an impression of the kind of a man Strauss-Kahn is. As a former finance minister under the socialist Mitterrand. a managing director of the IMF, and a major candidate for the 2012 Socialist Party nomination, he had and still has a lot of powerful friends. These friends will be discussed later on.
We'll start out with the most prominent aspect of the Strauss-Kahn affair: the question what actually transpired between him and Nafissatou Diallo, the chambermaid of Hotel Sofitel in New York whose accusations resulted in Strauss-Kahn's arrest. What we know today is that Strauss-Kahn just happened to walk out of the shower when Diallo was cleaning up his room. We also know that some kind of struggle ensued. According to Strauss-Kahn, it was all fun and games, with Diallo supposedly being very impressed with the size his manhood. She didn't agree and instead claimed he forced himself onto her. [26] Clearly some sort of sexual act ensued, because Strauss-Kahn's sperm was found on Diallo's clothes and in the hotel room. [27] This appears to have happened after Strauss-Kahn ejaculated into Diallo's mouth, with her spitting everything out during her escape. That's not all. There's considerable evidence that the sexual act wasn't exactly consentual. Diallo was found to have a torn ligament in her shoulder, bruises on her vagina, and ripped stockings. [28] Earlier in the day Strauss-Kahn reportedly tried to invite other maids up to his room. [29]
Then there are Strauss-Kahn's other shenanigans. Shortly before being appointed managing director of the IMF in 2007, President Nicolas Sarkozy was informed by his aides that Strauss-Kahn had been caught having an orgy with prostitutes in his car, along with some friends. Sarkozy burst out in laughter, telling his aides: "He will no doubt get the IMF job. Let’s keep this to ourselves, all right?" [30]
Also in 2007, journalist Tristane Banon, a friend of Strauss-Kahn's daughter, and goddauhter of Strauss-Kahn's ex-wife Brigitte Guillemette (married 1984–1989), publicly claimed that Strauss-Kahn had tried to rape her five years earlier, when she was 22. Banon's mother, who later turned out to have had sex with Strauss-Kahn at the workplace in 2000, convinced her to not press charges. She did confront Strauss-Kahn's wife with the incident, who informed her that "he had already had [accusations of] inappropriate behavior with students [undoubtedly at Sciences Po University]." [31] Strauss-Kahn was let off the hook after promising his wife not to try and rape his goddaughter again. Only after the 2011 incident did Banon's mother give details in public about the kind of person Strauss-Kahn is: "Everybody knows: ... he likes sex acts characterized by violence. ... He doesn't try to please women, but simply wants to possess them." [32]
In 2008, Strauss-Kahn made headlines being caught cheating on his wife with an IMF employee during the annual DAVOS conference. The employee - married - claimed she went along with the affair, but also felt she was pressured into the situation. There were parallel reports of Strauss-Kahn making vulgar remarks to women. [33]
After his 2011 arrest, Strauss-Kahn came under investigation for "aggravated pimping" and "gang rape", this because he and his friends were moving prostitutes through Belgium, France and the United States. Just days before the assault at the Sofitel Hotel, he was having sex with "secretaries" that were brought over from France and Belgium. One of these "secretaries" accused Strauss-Kahn and his friends of gang raping her. The rape included a police commissioner who hoped to become head of security once Strauss-Kahn was elected president of France. Although the prostitute consented to the sex, Strauss-Kahn and his friends were extremely rough with her, forcing her to have anal sex, holding her down, and pulling her hair. [34] Even more worrying, this scandal came out due to an already ongoing investigation into an elite sex ring at the Carlton Hotel in Lille, a town right next to the Belgian border. Some of the prostitutes used by this network allegedly were underage.
"The former head of the International Monetary Fund is among politicians and business leaders allegedly named in a 'black book' of clients at a luxury hotel which was said to double as a brothel. "A judicial Inquiry into prostitution at Carlton Hotel, in Lille, was opened in March amid claims underage girls were involved. Prostitution is legal in France [until 2013], but those offering sex must be over 18. "Senior staff from the Carlton Hotel, including the manager and a public relations executive, were arrested earlier this month as part of the inquiry. They are said to have acted as 'pimps' to their guests, and face charges of procuring prostitutes, organised conspiracy in criminal acts and money laundering. "French Closer magazine, which published the claims yesterday, said it has seen prosecution documents which say Mr Strauss-Kahn, 62, used prostitutes at the hotel." [35] |
Strauss-Kahn was exonorated from the "gang rape" charge after the victim-witness withdrew her testimony. He himself claimed to have had no clue that this girl, or any of the others, was actually a prostitute. This statement played a role in the charges of "aggrevated pimping" being dropped. The only damage done to Strauss-kahn at the end of the road is his reputation.
According to one Dutch lawyer who looked into the original 2011 case, despite all the evidence implicating Strauss-Kahn, the U.S. District Attorney's Office still did what it could to undermine the credibility of Nafissatou Diallo. Diallo, a poor, uneducated immigrant, hadn't been honest about all aspects of her past, but none of that really disputed the facts surrounding the case: Strauss-Kahn's past, his sperm, and the injuries. So what the office did was call in a second opinions on her injuries, resulting in the conclusion that the torn ligament and vaginal bruising may well have had other causes. It was also strongly held against Diallo that several times she had stated over the phone how it would be possible to receive a lot of money from Strauss-Kahn. The fact is, whether one thinks it's a good or bad attitude against the man who raped and humiliated her, she has the right to think this way. And this type of thinking would be on most people's mind. Not according to the District Attorney, of course. [36] Unsurprisingly, in the same debate on Dutch television a lawyer with a pretty questionable background was arguing in favor of Strauss-Kahn's complete exoneration. [37] That lawyer actually used to work for the well-known Moszkowicz family, which has long represented leading gang bosses, among them Klaas Bruinsma. Who did Klaas Bruinsma date again? That would be later Princess Mabel Wisse Smit of Orange, a person who knew Strauss-Kahn through the European Council on Foreign Relations. More on that later.
The link between the lawyer and Strauss-Kahn might be a reach, but it is symptomatic of nepotism at the highest levels of society where everybody increasingly starts to know everybody else. What is far less of a reach is the name of the district attorney my eyes fell on when watching a news segment on Diallo, and how he relates to Strauss-Kahn. The district attorney investigating the claims of Diallo, before dismissing them, was Cyrus Vance, Jr. This is a very familiar name, because this person is the son of Pilgrims Society member Cyrus Vance, ranked no. 1 in ISGP's "deceased" Superclass Index for the United States. This former secretary of state under Jimmy Carter has been involved in more than 30 different NGOs, among them Bilderberg, the Trilateral Commission, the Aspen Institute, the Rockefeller Foundation, Ditchley, the American-Russian Darthmouth Conferences, the Japan Society, the U.S.-China Business Council and more. Considering the U.S. powerbase of this network is centered around New York, it's rather obvious that Vance, Jr. became New York's district attorney due to the connections of his father. As we shall see, Strauss-Kahn was an up and comer in this exact same international network.
Further evidence for a cover up, is the the way Vance, Jr. handled the media in the days following the exoneration of Strauss-Kahn. He literally ran from the media, refusing to give any kind of rationale for the release:
"[Vance was] essentially saying "see ya later, bye" to CBS 2 reporters trying to get him to personally explain the decision to drop the charges against French banker Strauss-Kahn... "Vance was saved by Tuesday’s earthquake from answering questions about Strauss-Kahn and he laid low for some time before being coaxed out by Kramer. That took work because she, along with several of her colleagues, struggled to get a word — any word — on the case from Vance for nearly a day. Earlier Wednesday, security guards wouldn't even let CBS 2 cameras through the door of Vance's building. ... "CBS 2's Kristin Thorne also tried in the morning outside of his home. What's more, CBS 2's Sean Hennessey tried to get comment from Vance on Tuesday night. Vance: "I can’t talk right now. I’m with my family." Hennessey: "Sir, you're a public officer who has to answer questions about why you dropped the very controversial case, politically charged. I think you owe the American, New York voters some answers, don't you?" Vance: "Have a nice evening." "Even Tuesday, after the case against Strauss-Kahn was formally dropped and seconds before the earthquake saved him, the district attorney was trying to limit his public on-camera exposure to the press." [38] |
Not yet discussed at this point is who Strauss-Kahn really is. Strauss-Kahn was educated at Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po), the elite political sciences school that counts dozens of France's political leaders among its alumni, as well as a roughly 40 percent of France's senior business executives. [39] It's even more influential than France's INSEAD Executive School, where many leading bankers in Europe are educated. In between positions as minister of finance from 1997 and 1999 and managing director of the IMF from 2007 to 2011, Strauss-Kahn was an economics professor at Sciences Po.
That's not all, certainly by 1999 Strauss-Kahn had been picked up the elite. That year he is known to have attended the birthday party of Alain Minc, the supervisory chairman of Le Monde from 1994 to 2008. Present at the birthday party were men as Pascal Lamy, secretary general of the WTO from 2005 to 2013; Gerard Mestrallet, of the giant Suez Group; David de Rothschild, today head of the combined English and French Rothschild interests; and Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the European Central Bank from 2003 to 2011. Plenty of other major French industrialists and media figures were present at the Minc's party, with roughly two-thirds of the named guests having been educated at Sciences Po, including every person just mentioned above. One of the participants, Vincent Bolloré, who started out his career as a trainee at the French Rothschild bank, is known to be a close friend of President Nicolas Sarkozy since the 1990s. [40]
In 2000 Strauss-Kahn was invited to Bilderberg, headed by Etienne Davignon. Lamy, Mestrallet, Trichet and the Rothschild family are all familiar with Bilderberg. These men also serve in the top 10 of ISGP's Superclass Index for France and Belgium, clearly establishing Strauss-Kahn as a close friend of the absolute elite of the elite. In the early 2000s, Strauss-Kahn joined Policy Network, a pro-business socialist/labour think tank secretly financed by the Rothschild family. [41] In 2007 he became a founding council member of the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR), set up by George Soros with help from his employee, Princess Mabel Wisse Smit of Orange. Even during his term as managing director of the IMF, Strauss-Kahn continued to serve on the council with men as Etienne Davignon, Alain Minc, Lord George Robertson, Habsburg family relative Karel Schwarzenberg, and others. [42]
Strauss-Kahn's last involvement with a major NGO, outside DAVOS and the ones just mentioned, appears to be Tomorrow: The Israel Presidential Conferences, ran by David de Rothschild, leading Israeli politicians, and a group of criminal oligarchs: Vladimir Gusinsky, Leonid Nevzlin, Victor Pinchuk and the late Marc Rich. Strauss-Kahn visited the conference in 2008 and participated in at least one panel. Other visitors that year included Matthew Bronfman, James Wolfensohn, Henry Kissinger, Rupert Murdoch, Martin Indyk, General Yaakov Amidror, and many heads of state. Strauss-Kahn is a Jew, by the way, if the reader wasn't aware. [43]
It seems obvious that if Strauss-Kahn had not become embroiled in a series of sexual abuse scandals, he most likely would have continued his rise in the NGO world, combined with a couple of important corporate and banking positions. Today he appears to be forced to look for fortune in Russia. He has visited the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and sits on the board of the Putin-linked Russian Direct Investment Fund. He also joined the board of a banking subsidiary of state oil company Rosneft, long ran by Putin-ally Igor Sechin.
Already discussed, of course, are the ties of Etienne Davignon and friends to child abuse networks. Dominique Strauss-Kahn is a friend of Davignon. And the British and French Rothschilds have some of the closest indirect ties to child abuse networks possible, primarily through the 2008 Haut de la Garenne case on Jersey Island. Two of the most influential men on Jersey Island, Wilfred Krichefski and Reg Jeune, were implicated in very serious child abuse. These two used to be the absolute closest business associates of Jacob Rothschild in England and a representative of Baron Edmond de Rothschild in France. Other business associates include members of the Pilgrims Society, including Philip Shelbourne, a partner in N. M. Rothschild & Sons. [44] We don't really know the fine details of how these networks are organized, but as the saying goes: birds of a feather flock together. As time goes by, we'll probably find more cases involving the same group of people. Remember, the Carlton Hotel's "black book" was never released. Neither was the list of "notables" who enjoyed torturing children. Quite possibly Strauss-Kahn would be able to point out a few of them:
"There are many soirees in Paris organised for [orgies] and you'd be surprised at the people you'd meet at them." [45] |
Let's not forget those other two scandals during Sarkozy's term as president of France. Both of them are mentioned in the following 2011 Jerusalem Post article:
"Morocco is up in arms following an accusation that an unidentified French cabinet minister engaged in sexual relations with underage boys in the resort town of Marrakesh. Luc Ferry, a former French education minister, ignited the affair – and probably inadvertently – on May 30 during a television debate on the reluctance of French media to report on the private lives of politicians. Wanting to give an example, he cited reports about a fellow minister participating in an orgy with Moroccan children but said he wouldn't reveal the minister's name for fear of being sued for libel. Ferry’s charges might have been ignored in the past. But France is in an uproar over the arrest of Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the International Monetary Fund chief and perspective socialist candidate for president, who was arrested on sex charges in New York." [46] |
Luckily, a former BBC deputy director and Figaro chief editor released the name in an article on his personal blog. The person accused is Philippe Douste-Blazy. [47]
A biography of Douste-Blazy: Member of the European Parliament from 1989 to 1993, mayor of Lourdes from 1989 to 2000, mayor of Toulouse from 2001 to 2004 (follow up of Baudis), and deputy mayor of Toulouse from 2004 to 2008. These are two cities in the far South of France. More significantly, from 2005 to 2007 Douste-Blazy was France's foreign minister under Jacques Chirac. In other words, he held a position similar to U.S. secretaries of state, occupied by men as Henry Kissinger, George Shultz, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.
There was another somewhat peculiar episode surrounding Sarkozy. Over the years he and his government have been extremely lenient towards Zoe's Ark, the charity that tried to kidnap 103 so-called Darfur orphans. In fact, Sarkozy personally flew to Chad to retrieve the Spanish flight crew soon after the group had been arrested. Strangely, the airline had been convinced that the shipment of children was backed by the United Nations and Sarkozy's wife, but had failed to verify these claims through independent channels. [48] Sarkozy continued to pressure Chad to extradite the remaining Zoe's Ark members, who later on in France received very mild sentences of 1-2 years. Although there's no evidence of Chadian president/dictator Idriss Deby's initial claim that the children were meant for European pedophile rings and possibly for illegal organ transplants [49], it can be stated that French officials, including Sarkozy, have been extremely lenient towards people literally involved in massive child kidnapping. Virtually none of the children were orphans (all were returned to their parents five months later) and they had been lured away from their parents with candy and promises of being taken back to their parents. [50] It's a very strange story. One would expect these children to have explained the exact same thing to their future foster parents as what they told the journalists: they were kidnapped. Whatever happened, we don't know. What we do know is that, once again, French government officials have been largely indifferent to the whole affair.
New ties keep popping up all the time while trying to complete this article. Not mentioned yet is the name of Valery Giscard d'Estaing, a moderately right-wing president of France from 1974 to 1981 who belonged to Otto von Habsburg's Paneuropa Union, Opus Dei and the Knights of Malta. [51] Giscard d'Estaing's prime minister from 1976 to 1981, Raymond Barre, is also considered to have been loyal to Opus Dei, along with Otto von Habsburg and numerous others. [52]
These men, however, are a side issue here. A much more important person for this article is Michel Poniatowski, son of Prince Casimir Poniatowski and Princess Jacqueline de Riquet de Caraman-Chimay. [53] Poniatowski, another Opus Dei supporter [54], is considered to have been the main organizer of Giscard d'Estaing's 1974 presidential election victory. He was rewarded for his services with the influential position of minister of the interior and state minister from 1974 to 1977.
Anyone looking up some background information on Michel Poniatowski will quickly find out that Lyndon Larouche's Executive Intelligence Review wrote dozens of articles about him in the 1970s and early 1980s, tying him to a fascist "black international" of Otto von Habsburg. [55] Although EIR has had its various agendas over the decades, clearly they've always had their inside sources.
ISGP actually ran into the Poniatowski family because of Clay Shaw, the central person in the rather questionable Jim Garrison trial. Shaw had the name of Princess Jacqueline de Chimay in his notebook, together with a member of the Runciman family, known for its support of fascism; and a member of the Borghese family, linked to underground fascist armies set up by the CIA. Poniatowski, with his long-term support of France's fascist party, the National Front, would have fit right in.
Most worrying of all is that Domain de Chimay in southern Belgium has been specifically fingered in the Dutroux X-Dossiers (with all the research manually done by ISGP) as a location where aristocrats went to hunt on "end circuit" children, with Nazi militias taking care of security. [56] Names of persons involved in such activities? "Black Baron" Benoit de Bonvoisin, a major financier of fascism in Belgium for the CIA; his friend, Paul vanden Boeynants, a former defense minister and prime minister; Count Maurice Lippens, a member of Bilderberg and the Trilateral Commission; and others. According to the 1999 book 'The X-Dossiers', written by three mainstream journalists:
"X1 identified [Nazi] Madani Bouhouche as the very violent driver of the BMW who took her to 'the factory' and [Baron de Bonvoisin associate] Christian Amory as a sort of slave driver who brought her and her fellow victims to recording studios [for snuff movies] or parks where older men shot at hunted children. One of the colonels belonged to that group, X1 says. Her account about these kinds of hunting parties on human game, about which X2, X3, X4 and Nathalie W. later also speak, is by far the most controversial part of her testimony... One of the individuals that was recognized used to be a driver in a service [the Diana Group] that was headed by Lhost and was in the possession of heavy black BMWs [earlier reported having been seen by X1] [66]" |
Obviously the authors left out most of the names. The names and a location as Castle Chimay come from a separately leaked summary file of the dossier, discussed in ISGP's Beyond the Dutroux Affair. What should also be mentioned is that at the home of Clay Shaw hooks suspended from the ceiling were found with bloody palm prints on the ceiling. According to the maid, at least one person had died during one of the SM sessions. [59] Birds of a feather...
In the end little in this article can be considered solid fact, except that accusations have been made against persons close to French presidents Valery Giscard d'Estaing (1974-1981), Francois Mitterand (1981-1995), Jacques Chirac (1995 to 2007), and Nicolas Sarkozy (2007-2012). That should be interesting all by itself, despite the fact that no one has been convicted.
But despite a lack of convictions, or even trials, the accusations of low level pedophile rings being exploited by prominent individuals and low profile aristocratic families is becoming almost universal. This is reportedly what happened in Belgium, on the Jersey Islands, in the United States, as well as in other countries. This article has pointed out various locations in France where smoke has been observed in recent years, trickling through a few barely visible cracks. How big is the fire underneath? At this point we just cannot tell.
For starters, it would be nice to see that list of 50 "notables" that reportedly has been torturing children in the Auxerre region. Or the names in the Carlton Hotel's "black book". And it would be equally interesting to have acces to the full testimonies of everyone involved in the alleged network of Dominique Baudis. Is the public ever going to get this information? Time will tell.

[6] | July 21, 2004, The Daily Mail, 'Was Jo killed by a sex cult?'. For 14 years Leeds student Joanna Parrish's murder in France has been unsolved. Now the arrest of a serial killer poses the chilling question: was she murdered by a cabal of high powered men obsessed with rape and torture?': "In August 1997 the body of 57-year-old Christian Jambert was found in the cellar of his home in Auxerre. There was, it was said at the time, a single bullet hole in his throat, a hunting rifle by his side and a suicide note nearby. Colleagues of this retired detective quickly concluded that it was an openand-shut case: Jambert had suffered from depression and had clearly taken his own life. So sure was Auxerre's public prosecutor that he didn't bother to order a post-mortem. But not everyone was convinced. For, far from enjoying a quiet retirement, right until the day of his death Jambert had dedicated his every waking moment to trying to solve the mysterious disappearances and deaths of young women from the area. His interest in the disparu, or disappeared, had first been triggered by the fate of seven women, aged 16 to 27, who had attended the same special education centre in Auxerre before vanishing between 1977 and 1979. Then a serving gendarme, Jambert was the first officer to link their disappearances to Emile Louis, a coach driver. Prosecutors, however, dismissed his evidence, shelved his investigation and ignored at least three subsequent requests by him to have it reopened. Someone somewhere wanted the disappearances hushed up, he believed - a suspicion reinforced when other similar investigations were inexplicably closed. The case for the conspiracy theorists was further strengthened in 1984 when a horribly mutilated woman escaped from a house in a village close to Auxerre and led police to a cellar where she and two others had been imprisoned for up to three months and subjected to appalling abuse. A list of 50 people, rumoured to include several French 'notables' who had paid various rates to torture and abuse the women, was discovered by police. It would later go missing from a courtroom in Auxerre, and only Claude Dunand, a factory worker and his wife, Monique - who both lived in the house - were jailed. For almost 20 years Jambert had battled to solve these cases (he had also studied Jo Parrish's murder in depth) before finally persuading a team of elite Parisian gendarmes to re-examine the cases. But just weeks before he was due to deliver his evidence, Jambert was found dead. Given the circumstances, one might have expected a thorough investigation. Instead, the case was closed with indecent haste and, although suspicions existed from day one, it would be almost seven years before they would be acted upon. In that time there were some dramatic revelations. First, in 2000, the coach driver Emile Louis was arrested. He confessed to seven murders and led police to two bodies. He subsequently retracted his confession, insisting the girls were abducted, abused and killed by a ring of high-ranking local men. He was only the chauffeur, he says - a claim that will be tested when his trial takes place in Auxerre later this year. Louis was serving time in prison when Jo Parrish died, but the families of the victims suspect that he and Dunand were two of many local sex criminals who procured girls for their important 'clients'. But the most compelling evidence for some sort of conspiracy emerged this April, when, after pressure from his son Philippe, Jambert's body was finally exhumed and a postmortem carried out. It revealed that he had been shot twice. The pathologist concluded that the entry wounds were caused by two bullets of apparently different types which had been fired from different angles. Either shot would have been fatal, meaning Jambert could not have killed himself. [24] | October 8, 2009, Telegraph, Nicolas Sarkozy backs 'sex tourism' minister Frederic Mitterrand: "President Nicolas Sarkozy has given his backing to his embattled culture minister Frederic Mitterrand who travelled to Thailand to have sex with 'young boys'. A close aide dismissed calls for Mr Mitterrand's resignation despite his admission in an autobiographical book. Henri Guaino, a member of the president's inner circle, described criticism of Mr Mitterrand, a nephew of former Socialist president, Francois Mitterrand, as "pathetic" and said there was no need for him to leave the government. The revelations surfaced after opposition politicians seized on Mr Mitterrand's championing of Roman Polanski and his demand the director be released after being arrested in Switzerland in connection with his conviction in the US for having sex with a 13-year-old girl in 1977. They quoted passages from Mr Mitterrand's 2005 autobiography The Bad Life, in which he admitted having been a sex tourist in Thailand, and which was written before he entered government. But Mr Guaino said: "French political debate sometimes takes on a pathetic form. It's excessive and quite undignified." Asked whether Mr Mitterrand should resign, Mr Guaino said: "When there is a controversy as pathetic as this, with so much delay, I don't think there should be such drastic consequences." Mr Guaino said there were no facts to back up the accusations and Mr Mitterrand had not been subject to any legal complaints. But the affair appeared to have provoked a split in the government, with the labour minister Xavier Darcos saying Mr Mitterrand needed to explain his behaviour. In his book, Mr Mitterrand wrote: "I got into the habit of paying for boys ... All these rituals of the market for youths, the slave market excited me enormously ... the abundance of very attractive and immediately available young boys put me in a state of desire." The publisher described the book as a "novel inspired by autobiography". Mr Mitterrand denies having sex with anyone underage. In an interview before the scandal broke this week, Mr Sarkozy described Mr Mitterrand's book as "courageous". He was drafted into Mr Sarkozy's cabinet in June after lobbying by Carla Bruni, France's First Lady. [26] | December 26, 2011, The Guardian, 'What we learned from the Dominique Strauss-Kahn scandal': "There might be two sides to every story, but rarely are they so completely different. In a book published earlier this month, DSK Affairs: The Second Inquiry, French writer Michel Taubmann, who is friendly with Dominique Strauss-Kahn, described one version of what happened in suite 2806 of the Manhattan Sofitel hotel on 14 May. The scene – which lasted around six minutes, from start to finish – was apparently one of simple, mutual lust between Strauss-Kahn, the head of the International Monetary Fund, and Nafissatou Diallo, a hotel cleaner. "Emerging from the shower as naked as Adam," Taubmann writes, Strauss-Kahn "was confronted with Nafissatou Diallo ... She looked him straight in the eyes. Then she unashamedly looked at his private parts. The flesh is weak. Dominique Strauss-Kahn saw this as a proposition. Rarely in his life has he ever refused the possibility of a moment of pleasure. He did not resist the temptation of oral sex." The other explanation for Strauss-Kahn's semen allegedly being spat out over the suite's carpet and wall emerged in the days immediately after the incident, when a New York police spokesperson described Diallo's reported experience. This involved Strauss-Kahn coming out of the bathroom naked, running towards her, pulling her into a bedroom, and starting to sexually assault her, before engaging "in a criminal sexual act". She also claimed he tried to lock her in the hotel room. It was this report that led to Strauss-Kahn being apprehended on an Air France plane on the afternoon of 14 May." |
[27] | May 24, 2011, Wall Street Journal, 'Strauss-Kahn DNA Matches Semen on Maid's Shirt': "Tests found a match between a DNA sample submitted by former International Monetary Fund director Dominique Strauss-Kahn and semen found on the shirt of the hotel maid who told police she had been sexually assaulted by Mr. Strauss-Kahn, law-enforcement officials said. Benjamin Brafman, one of Mr. Strauss-Kahn's attorneys, declined to comment when told of the DNA test results. The French economist and presidential hopeful was indicted Thursday for sexual assault and attempted rape. He submitted to the DNA test after his arrest. Lawyers for Mr. Strauss-Kahn have said in court that there is no evidence of a forced sexual encounter." |
[28] | July 6, 2011, The Guardian, 'The Dominique Strauss-Kahn affair shines a troubling light on French society – and US justice': "Thompson, who specialises in employment discrimination and sexual harassment cases, relentlessly detailed what he claimed were the indubitable facts of the assault: the violence that had torn a ligament in the woman's shoulder (the advocate touched his own shoulder to reinforce the point); the bruising of her vagina; the ripped stockings. Then this: "The next thing I want to tell you is that when she was fighting to get away, when she was on her knees and he was sexually assaulting her, after he finished, she got up and started to run for that door and started spitting Dominique Strauss-Kahn's semen out of her mouth in disgust all over that hotel room. "So when you hear about the forensic evidence, the DNA evidence, she spit his semen on the wall, she spit it on the floor – and guess what? As soon as her supervisor came upstairs, she saw that. The security staff at the Sofitel, they saw that. The detectives at NYPD, they saw that. And there was a prosecutor from the Manhattan District Attorney's office who went into that hotel room on the day it happened, and she showed him where the semen was." If the woman and her lawyer are telling the truth, then this was a glimpse of what a violent sexual assault by a powerful man on a vulnerable woman looks like. Everyone should face up to the sickening reality of it. If, however, they are not telling the truth, then this was the assassination of a man's character, in broad daylight, on a New York sidewalk. Nothing the man who might have been president of France can do now will bring his reputation back to him. " |

Attempted rape carries a sentence of up to 15 years in France – more if there are aggravating circumstances such as the use of violence. In a 2007 TV programme which is still accessible on the internet, Miss Banon gives a graphic account of the alleged attack in which she compared Strauss-Kahn to a ‘rutting chimpanzee’ and claimed he tried to unfasten her clothes. Ms Banon will now tell French detectives about the alleged attempted rape, which took place in an anonymous studio flat in Paris in 2002. Strauss-Kahn lured the then 21-year-old trainee journalist to the property under the promise of an interview, and then started to rip her clothes off, it is claimed. ‘I kicked him, I called him a rapist, he didn’t seem to care,’ said Ms Banon in earlier interviews, in which she also described Strauss-Kahn as acting like a ‘rutting chimpanzee’. Ms Banon’s mother, Anne Mansouret, said the only reason she did not press charges at the time was because 'she was just starting out in journalism' and was afraid of being 'defined by the story' of being attacked by a senior politician. Mrs Mansouret has now confirmed that her daughter is making a report to Paris police, and may hold a press conference about an ordeal which left her 'traumatised'. Lawyer David Koubbi said that his client, Ms Banon, is 'considering filing a complaint'." |
[33] | *) July 19, 2011, Slate, 'DSK's MILF? A young woman says Dominique Strauss-Kahn tried to rape her. Did he have brutal sex with her mother, too?': "[It] started in 2007 with allegations by Tristane Banon, a French journalist, that Strauss-Kahn had grappled "violently" with her and tried to undo her jeans and bra during a private interview. A year later, Piroska Nagy, a former economist at the International Monetary Fund, told IMF investigators that Strauss-Kahn had pressured her into a sexual relationship when she worked for him. The investigators confirmed the relationship but said there was "no evidence" that Strauss-Kahn had "threatened [her] in any way to induce her to engage in the affair." Other women accused him of making crude passes, and in May, he was indicted for allegedly assaulting a maid at a New York hotel. That case has crumbled because the accuser, according to prosecutors, lied to them about a previous rape. But the bruises in her vagina and the semen on her shirt, which reportedly matches Strauss-Kahn's DNA, leave him with a lot to explain. ... In fact, Mansouret reportedly claims that Strauss-Kahn, through his second wife, Brigitte Guillemette, confirmed both incidents. According to L'Express, Mansouret said she phoned Guillemette soon after the Banon incident, and Guillemette "allegedly told her she knew he had already had inappropriate behavior with students." Mansouret asserts, on this account, that Guillemette asked Strauss-Kahn about the Banon episode and that he told her, essentially, "I don't know what happened to me. I slept with the mother, I lost it when I saw the daughter." So here's where we stand. Two women have accused Strauss-Kahn of sexual assault. Three (including those two) have accused him of sexual brutality. A fourth has accused him of sexually pressuring her when she worked for him. Others have accused him of crude advances. ... But there's a big problem with Mansouret's story: Guillemette denies it. L'Express says that when investigators asked Guillemette about Mansouret's version of events, she told them, "All this is false." And if Guillemette rejects Mansouret's account of their conversations, that could undercut Mansouret's credibility about her own incident as well as Banon's." *) May 16, 2011, New York Times, 'Woman in 2008 Affair Is Said to Have Accused I.M.F. Director of Coercing Her': "Mr. Strauss-Kahn took a keen interest in the woman making the presentation — Piroska M. Nagy, a blond Hungarian-born economist who was 50 at the time and who had worked at the I.M.F. since 1986. Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s subsequent brief affair with Ms. Nagy, who is married, soon became public — spurring an internal investigation at the fund that would ultimately clear him of having abused the power of his office. Now, in the aftermath of Mr. Strauss-Kahn’s arrest on charges that include attempted rape, his past conduct is undergoing fresh scrutiny. A person with direct knowledge of Ms. Nagy’s version of what happened and her view of the I.M.F. investigation said that the affair — which was conducted at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland — was consensual, but that she had felt coerced because Mr. Strauss-Kahn was so forceful and so senior to her, making it hard for her to, in effect, say no. This person, who declined to be identified because the matter was a sensitive one, said Ms. Nagy had felt that her claim about abuse of power was not taken into account by the board. ... On one occasion, this person recalled, Mr. Strauss-Kahn even sent his secretary to summon Ms. Nagy from the bathroom with a message that the managing director wanted to see her. Ms. Nagy found herself in an increasingly awkward relationship with her ultimate boss, but for a while she put off his advances, the person said. In January 2008, however, she met up with Mr. Strauss-Kahn in Davos and had a very brief affair with him, a version of events that has been publicly accepted by both sides. Ms. Nagy put an end to the affair after her husband became aware of it. In the spring of 2008, she left the fund, taking advantage of an attractive severance package when the organization cut staff, but also feeling uncomfortable in light of the affair." |
[34] | October 2, 2012, Telegraph, 'Dominique Strauss-Kahn gang rape charges dropped': "While the gang rape charges have been dropped, the 63-year old one-time French presidential hopeful remains under investigation for "aggravated pimping" in the so-Called "Carlton affair", a probe into the organisation of parties involving prostitutes in France, Belgium and the US. Mr Strauss-Kahn and four other men are accused of knowing fraudulently obtained money was being paid to the vice girls by a prostitution racket based in Lille, northern France. Today, the state prosecutor of Lille, northern France, chose to drop the gang rape charges. This follows a preliminary investigation launched after an escort girl told police that she had been forced to have anal sex with Mr Strauss-Kahn in a Washington hotel next to the White House in 2010. Also allegedly present were David Roquet, a public works employee and Jean-Christophe Lagarde, Lillie police commissioner and Fabrice Paszkowski, head of a medical equipment company who organised soirées with Mr Strauss-Kahn. But the Belgian prostitute, now 26 and identified only as Marie-Anne, later retracted the allegations. In a written statement to French investigators she reportedly said the events in the US were consensual "sex games" and she was paid to fly there from Europe to have sex with Mr Strauss-Kahn and his friends." |

The broadcast stream refused to work a few days after watching it, making precise quoting impossible. Van Driem specializes in cases of sexual abuse. She has been invited to prominent Dutch talk shows since about 2010. On this show van Driem made the case that Dominique Strauss-Kahn almost certainly was guilty of attempted rape, but that the New York District Attorney's Office has been covering this up by purposely destroying the victim's credibility in every possible way. Although I obviously agree with her, I suspect it's one of the contrived false opposition debates (in part based on information received in private on van Driem). She was pitted against a person who made the exact opposite case - Geert-Jan Knoops - and, as usual, one can tell that this person simply was not interested in the arguments given, no matter how reasonable. No middle ground. This person was just completely in favor of Strauss-Kahn's release. Knoops person also has curious connections (see below). Ironic detail: also at the table was an illegitimate child of Prince Bernhard who was the topic of a parallel discussion. |

Together with his father Max, Bram Moscowicz defended Dutch underworld figures Klaas Bruinsma (relationship with Mabel Wisse Smit, a Soros employee who married a brother of Crown Prince Alexander) and the Heineken kidnappers Cor van Hout and Willem Holleeder (another later top criminal who Moscowicz continued to represent for 20 years; Bruinsma and Holleeder are Holland's most famous criminal superstars), Surinam dictator Desi Bouterse (whom the CIA and Dutch government tried to overthrow), Willem Endstra, and neocon politician Geert Wilders. Knoops marries an attorney at Moszkowics and switches his belief from Catholic to pretty strict Judaism. These days the couple enjoys sailing and classical music. The couple began their own law firm in 1994. Geert-Jan Knoops has defended sepcial forces soldier Eric O. (a minor war crimes case, with accusations that it was covered up), the Puttens' murder case (a controversial rape/murder case with bizarre twists and two apparently innocent people sent to jail), Deventer murder case (another prominent case that went on for years), green beret Marco Kroon case (Afghanistan war hero; close to CIA director David Petraeus; cocaine and XTC found in his hairsamples, pants, jacket and car, but somehow cleared of that), tribunals in Rwanda, Yugoslavia and Sierra Leone, asked to become advisor to Saddam Hussein's judicial team for his appeal. The sum donated to date is said to be £250,000. The name of the donor is missing from the think tank’s accounts, but its directors have been privately concerned that they will look secretive if they continue to hide his identity. One tipped off The Sunday Times last week: “It hasn’t been publicised, but de Rothschild’s involvement is well known to the board.” Last night critics said the donation is yet another example of a businessman with vast commercial interests in government policies giving “cash for access” via a Labour think tank. [44] | *) Senator Wilfred Krichefski, who died in 1974 and was among the most powerful men on Jersey Island (and the leading Jewish fundraiser), was named as a child abuser at the children's home. He's the only name mentioned, because the others were still alive. March 2, 2008, Telegraph, 'Pictures of Jersey care home 'torture chamber': "A leading member of Jersey’s post-war political establishment was confirmed by police today as having been named as an abuser. Living members of the island’s establishment have also been identified as suspects but cannot be named for legal reasons. Wilfred Krichefski, a senator in Jersey’s government and chair of several committees, allegedly regularly visited Haut de La Garenne to abuse boys until his death in 1974. One ex-resident has claimed he was repeatedly raped at the children’s home aged 12 by Mr Krichefski between 1962 and 1963. The man, now aged in his late 50s and living in the West Midlands, said that every month he and another boy would be taken into a back room at the home and abused by two men. ... The former resident said he would be woken by a care worker with the words “There is someone here to see you”. He was presented to his abuser with the words “Here’s a boy for you, sir.” The alleged victim man said: “That man raped me and did despicable acts. I know he is dead but people need to know what he was really like.” “He said: ’I’m going to teach you to be a good boy. You’ve been wicked and no one wants you. Your parents don’t want you - that’s why you’re here.’” The only person he told about the abuse was a psychiatrist on the island who warned that if he repeated the allegation he would be placed in a mental hospital." *) His close friend and business partner, Reg Jeune, worked at the children's home at some point. He had indicated more than once that among the suspects were person who "could be described as members of the island's political and social elite." *) Having worked at Jersey's "house of horror" at the very least is indicative that Jeune allowed the abuse to happen. A large amount of testimony is available that describes continuous abuse by the staff. Torture was commonplace, but details are generally limited to terms as "horrifying", "cruel", "sadistic" and "evil". As expected, all former staff and board members of the home either refused to comment or denied knowing anything about the abuse. There was one major exception, however. Christine Bowker was a volunteer staffer at the Haut de la Garenne home in 1972. Not noticing any kind of management, she remembered the staff being "ice cold ... [looking] like sick people - staring eyes and very tense." She noticed that a mere glance of a staffer could make a child withdraw into his or her shell who would be "frozen with fear". Within two months Bowker had enough of the home and left. Even though she claimed not to have witnessed any sexual abuse at Haut de la Garenne, she referred to it as an "evil" place and voiced her concerns to the authorities. As one would expect, no action was taken, whatsoever. |

[48] | October 29, 2007, New York Times, 'Adoption workers accused of luring Chadian children with candy': "The Spanish air charter company hired by a French group to fly 103 children out of Chad was told the foiled flight was supported by the United Nations and the French president's wife, a legal source said on Friday. The Catalan charter company, Girjet, offered its services after receiving emails indicating the abortive operation was being organized by the U.N. refugee agency UNHCR and also had the blessing of French President Nicolas Sarkozy's wife, Cecilia, the source, who asked not to be named, said. France's government and the UNHCR have denied involvement in last month's attempt by the French humanitarian activist group Zoe's Ark to fly the African children aged 1-10 out of Chad to Europe in a Boeing 757 airliner chartered from Girjet. ... The emails were sent in English to Girjet in October by a Luxembourg-based air freight hire company, Cargo Leasing S.A., which was acting on behalf of Zoe's Ark, the legal source, who is involved in the case in N'Djamena, told Reuters. "Please advise price quote for the transportation of 180 passengers of the UNHCR organization from ABECHE (TCHAD) to MARSEILLE," read one email, a copy of which was seen by Reuters. Another said: "Really need your full cooperation in that business which is considered as Humanitarian flight on behalf of a French committee headed and supported by Mme Cecilia S......". "It's clear they wanted to give the impression that the French Presidency was aware of the Zoe's Ark mission," the legal source told Reuters. Sarkozy's spokesman has already denied French media reports last month which quoted the Belgian pilot arrested, who was later freed, as saying that the leaders of Zoe's Ark told him they had the support of the Elysee Palace. "I formally reject the information according to which the organization Zoe's Ark claims the support of the Elysee and Cecilia Sarkozy," the French presidential spokesman, David Martinon, said on October 26. "It's totally false," he added. France has strongly condemned the Zoe's Ark operation but the case has strained relations with its former colony Chad ahead of the planned deployment of a European Union peacekeeping force in the violent east of the landlocked African country. UNHCR has also denied having any formal relationship with the Zoe's Ark group, but it said it gave the organization some material assistance in east Chad, acting "in good faith". The group, which operated in eastern Chad under the name Children Rescue, had said it planned to fly orphans from Sudan's war-torn Darfur region to Europe for fostering by families. U.N. officials who questioned the children said most were not orphans and came from villages on the Chad-Sudan border. Some parents have testified the Zoe's Ark members offered schooling in east Chad to persuade them to part with their children -- but that they never mentioned flying them to France. Another email sent to Girjet said the passengers of the plane would be Chadian residents requiring "special surgical and medical attention". But U.N. officials said the children were found with fake bandages on their heads and bodies and that most of them were in good health. In the email exchanges, the price for the Girjet charter flight was quoted at 115,000 euros ($170,000). The emails also show that both Girjet headquarters and the pilot in charge were to have received various documents, including a manifest signed "by French doctors authorizing these children to travel", and an "authorization from ABECHE authorities to evacuate these children", among others. But it was not clear whether these documents were delivered, as the children and their Zoe's Ark guardians were stopped on October 25 while on their way to Abeche airport in eastern Chad to take the Girjet flight." |

The small charity group had hoped to bring 103 children from Darfur to live temporarily with host families in France. But their plane never left the ground. And now, the organizers, three journalists and seven Spanish members of the flight crew are behind bars in Chad and charged with kidnapping and fraud. The Chadian government says the children were from Chad, not from Sudan's Darfur region and that they are not orphans. Chad's president Idriss Deby spoke to the press after questioning the aide workers when they were arrested last Thursday. President IDRISS DEBY (Chad): (Through translator) Clearly, their goal was to kidnap and steal these kids from their parents, and sell them to pedophile organizations in Europe, or kill them and sell their organs. BEARDSLEY: Well, the accusations have shocked France. They haven't surprised those who know President Deby. [50] | October 29, 2007, New York Times, 'Adoption workers accused of luring Chadian children with candy': ""My parents had gone to work in the fields. As we were playing some Chadians came and said, 'Here are some sweets, why don't you follow us to Adre and then we'll take you home?' " said a young boy who gave his name as Osman. "We were taken to the hospital in Adre," a town on the Chad-Sudan border. "We spent seven days in Adre, and I've been here in Abeche for more than one month," he said at the Abeche orphanage, where the children are being cared for by local and international aid workers. "We were well fed by the whites, there was always food. I would like to go back to find my parents." France has condemned the operation, and the Paris prosecutor's office opened an investigation last week into "illegal exercise of intermediary activities with the aim of adoption." Nicolas Sarkozy, the French president, has reiterated his condemnation of the actions of Zoe's Ark to President Idriss Deby of Chad, according to Sarkozy's office. The seven members of the charter plane's crew, all Spanish citizens, are also being held by the Chadian police. Mariam, a 10-year-old who was one of the group along with her younger sister, said that their mother was dead but that their father was still alive. "A car came with two whites and one black man who spoke Arabic. The driver said, 'Come with me, I'll give you some money and biscuits and then I'll take you home,' " she said. "We were taken to the white people's house and they gave us medicine - small white tablets," Mariam said. "I was not ill. All the children were given pills. They told us that we would no longer be able to go home." A French diplomat has said that around 300 families in France and Belgium paid up to €6,000, or $4,600, per child to have them flown to an airport in Vatry, east of Paris, where families hoping to welcome them waited Thursday night in vain. France's Foreign Ministry issued a warning about Zoe's Ark in August, saying there was no guarantee the children were helpless orphans and casting doubt on the project's legality. France's ambassador to Chad, Bruno Foucher, said the French citizens would have to face Chadian justice. "I think this situation is scandalous, and our efforts and those of the French government have been centered on these children who were taken from their villages, and to make sure this never happens again," Foucher told reporters in Abeche. "It's an operation which was completely illegal."" |

[59] | 2005, Joan Mellen, 'A Farewell to Justice', pp. 118-119 (generally seems accurate and very well researched; praised by Oliver Stone): "The search of Clay Shaw's house produced [interesting things]. ... Downstairs, the walls were covered with pale green silk, the floors with Oriental carpets. Upstairs, it was as if an entirely different man here. Attached to the beams in the ceiling over the bed in the master bedroom, just as Dr. Lief's patient had described them, were huge hooks with chains fitted with wrist straps hanging free, hooks large enough to hang a human body. On the ceiling were bloody palm prints. Many hands had been suspended there, William Alford thought, and he wondered whether anyone had died or been seriously injured in this room. A black gown bore "whip marks," William Gurvich noticed. Five whips bore traces of blood. A cat-o'-nine-tails sat in the closet. "Let's dust and lift those prints," Alford said. Ivon refused. The boss [Jim Garrison] didn't want to make Shaw's sexuality an issue. At 11:15, [Jim] Garrison's investigators emerged from 1313 Dauphine Street with five cardboard boxes containing ropes, whips, chains, marble phalluses, the black cape, a black hood and black lacquer Asian-type sandals with white satin linings that had never thouched pavement, belying the later contention that hese were Mardi Gras costumes. Shaw's notebooks contained the names of European aristocrats. Jim Garrison sent the phalluses, whips and chains to Robert Heath, the head of psychiatry at Tulane [a MKULTRA center, with Heath being accused of involvement and experimenting on children]. Heath concluded that Shaw's motive for becoming involved in a conspiracy to murder President Kennedy "could very possibly have been rooted in his sadistic, homosexual abnormality," a thesis Jim Garrison rejected. "I don't want that factor to enter this case," Garrison reiterated, even as, privately, he called Shaw a "Phi Beta Kappa sadist." Nor would he investigate whether violent sex crimes had emanated from behind those red doors at 1313 Dauphine Street. He did not pursue complaints against Shaw stemming from sexual evenings when violent practices were rumored to have gotten out of hand. Alford's suspicions about those bloody handprints had been well founded. Shaw's maid, Virginia Johnson, would reveal that there had been a "mysterious death or killing of someone in the house," and although the coroner had come to pick up the body, there had been no police investigation. Al Oser discovered that only two weeks before Shaw's arrest, the police were called "because Clay Shaw, a white male, and two colored males were on the patio naked and using wine bottles on each other." Among the first people Shaw notified after his arrest was Fred Lee Crisman, Tommy Beckheam's mentor. He was in trouble, Shaw told fellow CIA operative Crisman. In addition to their political affiliations, Shaw and Crisman had sexual proclivities in common. Crisman would describe himself as "being sadistic in sexual practice preferences."" |
